I recently exhibited at the Knitting and Stitching Show in the RDS in Dublin with Filament Fibre Artists and we had a very positive response.

 First pieces of flat felt and drawings from the sensory garden  More great felt and drawings of the garden My first day of the CRAFTed programme at the School of The Holy Spirit in Kilkenny was Tuesday 1st February and I spent a lovely morning getting to know the children from Class 6 & 7 and introducing them to felting and as you can see from the pictures above they produced some really lovely work.
“Saltee Islands Vessels” won 2nd prize in the Felting Category of the RDS National Craft Competition in August. The prize winners touring exhibition opens in The Courtyard Gallery, Midleton, Co. Cork, October 21 – November 9, 2010. Sat 1st of May to Sun 16th of May in The Graffon Gallery, Castle Espie, Co. Down, Northern Ireland. |
